To obtain this visa, the investor should in return invest in Spain through one of the following options:

Investing in a real estate in Spain with a minimum value of 500,000 Euros.
A monetary investment of:
A minimum of 1 million Euros of shares in listed/non-listed Spanish companies or a bank deposit in a Spanish banking entity.
